It was our first wedding at this great venue, Resort at Marina Village, up in Cape Coral, and we loved photographing there. It is truly beautiful place with amazing water views and very friendly staff. So, let us introduce you to our new couple. Amanda and Josh met through mutual friends and it took him 6 months to work up the guts to ask her out. There was something special about her and Josh knew that she was the one for him. He called her on her birthday to ask her out for the first time and they went to an Irish Pub. It was a nice night and they sat outside on the swing until about half way through when it began poring rain. Amanda got soaking wet but it was still the best first date she ever had.
One morning Josh woke up and knew what he wanted to do. A few weeks later, with engagement ring securely hidden, they went to a baseball game between the Marlins and Phillies. They had front row seats on the 3rd base line. Josh set up the guy sitting behind them to take a few pictures of them in front of the field. After a few shots, Josh got down on one knee and asked Amanda to marry him. She was so surprised she was speechless. In fact, she didn’t actually respond until someone in the stands yelled out “did she say yes?” She said, “of course!”
They got married seven months later. It was a beautiful day overlooking the Caloosahatchee River. Family and friends traveled across the country to share in their special day.
We would like to say special thank you to Sandy, Josh’s mom, who put so much work, time and talent into this special day. Also we would like to thank Tosha Wollney, on-site wedding coordinator at Marina Village, who made sure that everything on that day was perfect, including the weather 🙂
