Kristin and Jon knew of each other for many years they just never had any interest in one another. One day, Kristin’s sister, Danielle, asked Kristin if she would go to Key West with her because she didn’t feel comfortable going alone with a guy (who was a friend of Jon). Kristin said she would go along to Key West but didn’t want to be a third wheel so Jon’s friend Sean invited him to go. Once Sean said “the keys”, it did not matter who was going because Jon is an ocean lover and would do anything to be in the keys. Since both Kristin and Jon accepted the invite they were given each other’s phone numbers and just so have it Kristin messaged Jon first. After a few weeks of texting back and forth, the trip got cancelled but Jon and Kristin had such good conversations they didn’t want a cancelled trip to ruin the connection they made. A few more weeks went by and Jon asked Kristin to meet for a drink while he was out with a few friends. Let’s just say not only Jon looked with his jaw to the ground, his friends were also wondering “who is that cutie” and Jon responded “That’s Kristin, she’s here to meet me!”. A few beers and steamed shrimp later they decided they needed to hang out again! After a few more weeks texting Jon invited Kristin to go to a Tim McGraw concert, our first official date. By the end of that night Jon grabbed ahold of Kristin’s hand. From that day on they couldn’t get rid of each other. On July 2, 2012, Jon and Kristin made it official and started their journey of love. A year later Jon knew this was his mermaid and popped the question on July 29, 2013. The big day was a year later on July 19, 2014 and it was a night they will never forget! We were lucky to witness the love they showed for each other from the first look photos to the last dance of the evening and we can just see many years of happiness.
