David said the second time he met Erin he knew he would marry her. It was at a Bible study with their church at a sandwich shop in Indianapolis. Two days later on their first date Erin knew he was the one too. They overcame many struggles and joys together in the next couple of years. During that time David was transferred half way across the country for work but after 10 months of separation he returned to Indy and their relationship was stronger than ever. David’s romantic proposal took place Christmas Eve in their home after the midnight service. Erin was so surprised but didn’t hesitate a second. Always wanting a small intimate ceremony on the beach, they picked the Pink Shell Resort in Fort Myers Beach. David and Erin were married in front of a cross built by her dad to remind them that it was God, not chance or coincidence, that brought them together and He will forever be the foundation and tie that binds them together.
