Jon and Brianna met as 9th graders, where they shared a circle of friends who enjoyed getting together and playing various types of games. They soon began pairing up as a team during these games because they found that they played well together. So well, in fact, that their friends soon banned them from being a team. But they were already seeing themselves as a team … and more.
In tenth grade, they began dating. Their relationship lasted through the highs and lows of high school, and they continued their education, and their relationship, at Michigan State.
In their junior year, Brianna bought Jon a kayak for his birthday. Less than a week later, Jon took that kayak and Brianna on a romantic picnic at a favorite lake. He packed their favorite foods and the last course… an engagement ring. She said yes!
After graduation, Jon and Brianna were married at the beautiful Pink Shell Resort in Fort Myers Beach, surrounded by family and close friends. After being delayed by a late afternoon shower, they had a perfect evening ceremony, followed by what they believe was the most beautiful sunset ever…their wedding gift from God!
