February 9th, 2007 was the night Tom and Sarah met at Scooters Pub in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. What started off for Sarah as a continuation of her birthday celebrations, and Tom, awaiting a good time with one of his oldest friends, turned into the beginning of the end. The night was filled with conversations, refreshers of names, and quite a few dice games. All in all, a very good night at Scooters Pub!
Four years later came the engagement! As Sarah would say, it was loooonnnggg overdue! The venue for the proposal was at a restaurant that Tom had taken Sarah for one of their first dates – Mima’s, a beautiful and special Italian restaurant located on Brady Street in Milwaukee. After dinner, while sitting at a small, intimate table against the front windows, Tom asked Sarah to spend the rest of her life with him. Tom presented the two rings that they had picked out together, many months earlier. All of this was assisted by, none other than, Mama Mima herself, adding her infinite wisdom through a very heavy Sicilian accent. Following congratulations by all of the tables nearby, the dinner concluded. They were off to celebrate with a few close friends at Scooters Pub.
After spending a little over five years together, Tom and Sarah became husband and wife in beautiful Naples, Florida. Witnessed by an intimate group of family and friends, Tom and Sarah tied the knot on the Naples Princess. While filled with cloudy skies and raindrops (Tropical Storm Debby on her way), the couple couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, filled with love. Tom and Sarah, along with their guests, ended the day with a quaint dinner at Truluck’s in Naples.
