This amazing couple came to our studio a few months ago and we immediately felt great chemistry between us and felt in love with them! We knew that photographing their wedding would be very special and it truly was.
Jennifer and Craig met in 2000 when they were freshmen at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He was a football player and she was a volleyball player. Though their attraction was immediate, due to a misunderstanding the two quickly had a falling out and spent the remainder of their college career ignoring each other. As fate would have it, many years later and after a lot of growing up, the two reconnected through mutual friends on Facebook. They began writing everyday which eventually led to hours of conversations. Finally, after a couple months of getting to know each other again, the two decided they had to see each other to know if what they were feeling was real. Craig flew up to Chicago from Florida and they spent an extremely memorable weekend together only to find out that they were very much in love and could not be apart.
After three years of dating, Craig brought Jennifer to Marco Island for a mini vacation. After an amazing meal at Kurrants in the Marriott Hotel, Craig took their son Brayden to wash up in the restroom. Craig came back and sat down without Brayden. Just as Jennifer began to get concerned, Brayden came through the room shouting, “Mommy, I have a surprise for you!” As he came closer Jennifer could see that he was tightly coveting a small wooden box. A shocked and confused Jennifer turned to Craig who was getting on one knee. Craig asked Jennifer to marry him with the help of their little man, and through lots of tears, she of course said yes.
The wedding took place on Tigertail Beach where they had rented a gorgeous mansion that was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The couple was joined by their closest friends and family for an intimate ceremony in which they read their own vows and included their son Brayden. Their officiant, Russ Winn, conducted an extremely meaningful and spiritual ceremony which led to many tears among their guests. Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed an amazing meal created by their hired chef, Jay Wolfson of Prestige Catering in Naples. The wedding was truly a dream and a day that will not soon be forgotten by all were present.
We wish Jennifer and Craig many years of happiness and prosperity together!
