After Michael changed high schools over 4 times and Maria changed high schools once, they ended up together in Richmond town prep “a high school for bad kids”. The max amount of kids in the school was about 30 so their good looks easily attracted each other fast. Putting that aside, they each were in another relationship at the time; apparently that didn’t stop them from hanging out. Michael being 2 years older as a senior and Maria being a sophomore, they would meet in front of school to hang out every morning before the principle would came out to say “ding”- which meant time for class to begin. Michael ended up graduating and Maria lost her morning buddy. Until one day, Maria was standing outside waiting for detention and saw Michael drive by in his new fancy car. He stopped, rolled down his window and said “I was hoping to see you here; I drive by everyday looking for you”. Maria had the biggest smile on her face and dreamed that this day would come. He then asked Maria if she wanted to hang out, she said yes and skipped detention. While hanging out, they told each other that their old relationship was over and it was time to move on. From that day forward they would constantly call each other to hang out. Michael would pick Maria up from school and drive her home almost every day until she graduated. It took Michael and Maria 8 months to consider themselves boyfriend and girlfriend. Their relationship was like no other, there was no jealously, no fighting it was just TRUE LOVE. 8 years later, Michael popped the question at their favorite steak house “Ruth Chris” on October 20th 2012 they married 6 months later in April of 2013. Their love for each other will always stay strong.
