Gina moved from the suburbs of Chicago to Florida after deciding she needed a change and a new beginning. After a rough start and the unexpected passing of her father, she never expected to find the love of her life. Ironically, around the same time Gina was settling in to her new surroundings, Clint was making a similar decision. He packed up his things and left the small town in Michigan he’d known his entire life and headed to Florida. About two years later, in 2008, Clint and Gina were connected by a popular online dating site. After talking online for several weeks, they decided to meet at a local restaurant and the love story began…well, kind of. Gina admits she wasn’t quite sure if there was a connection right from the start, but Clint knew he had found a keeper and wasn’t going to give up very easily. It didn’t take long for Gina to realize what an amazing guy she had found. After building their friendship, sparks began to fly and Gina was convinced she’d eventually marry Clint. After 2 years together, Clint asked Gina to marry him. The Christmas Eve proposal was very sweet and unexpected. The couple now looks forward to their wedding day on March 17, 2012 at the Club at Grandezza in Estero, FL. Although, Clint isn’t the least bit Irish, he and Gina decided it would be the perfect day to celebrate and honor her dad. According to Gina, he would have loved Clint and a St. Patty’s Day wedding!
