After meeting through mutual friends in high school, Heather and Rob went their separate ways and attended two different colleges 1200 miles apart. After graduating, they returned to their home town and reconnected. Heather and Rob began dating January 2010, and by May of that year Rob’s career took him 2200 miles across the country to San Diego, California. After only dating for 10 months, with 5 of those months being apart, Rob asked Heather to move with him. Heather took a leap of faith and left everything she knew in Ohio to be with him. Five years later, Rob asked Heather to marry him, and before their wedding, they made one more move together to Denver, CO where they currently live. They decided to marry in Marco Island, FL because Florida has always held a special place in Rob’s heart. Heather loves the beach, so it was a no brainer! They fell in love with the beautiful white sands of the Marriott and decided it would be the perfect place to say “I Do!”
