Adam and Leslie met in the Spring of 2012 through friends who felt they would make the perfect couple together. They enjoyed each other’s company, found much in common and quickly fell in love. Adam proposed on the Gateway Clipper in October of 2016, choosing this special place because they shared a date there early on in their relationship. It was also Halloween time, which resulted in some adorable costumed pictures on the boat! Shortly thereafter, the couple flew to Sanibel Island, Florida for a romantic engagement celebration and decided they wanted to share this beautiful piece of the world with their friends and family, making plans to marry there in 2018. The couple was united in marriage on the sands of Casa Ybel Resort by the groom’s own father and enjoyed a tropical reception under the palm trees to celebrate with their loved ones.

Leslie and Adam have lived in downtown Pittsburgh for the last 6 years, their first chapter together, and are in the process of building a home in the suburbs to begin their next chapter. They take pleasure in being active together running, hiking and biking but also fall guilty to vices such as indulging in craft beers. Leslie and Adam like to clown around and try not to take life too seriously; laughter and fun are the cornerstone of their relationship. The couple’s Boston terrier, Pavlov, has been a huge source of love and life for them for the past 3 years. They are excited for what the future holds and look forward to continuing to build a life together.
